Ushers / Greeters

It is our aim to make visitors and members feel welcomed the moment they arrive, and our ushers and greeters are committed to doing so. They hand out orders of service, show visitors the way to pews, and coffee hour after the service, introduce them to members and the priest, shepherd the flock to receive communion at the appropriate time.

St Mark's Choir

If you have ever considered joining the choir, now is the time!  We rehearse for only one hour before the service;  we sing very simple hymns and anthems, and we help and support each other to achieve the best we can.  Music is a gift from God and it is a joy to praise and give thanks to Him with this gift.  Those interested can contact Carol Johns at 631-325-1823 or caroljohns@optonline.net

Text...The Altar Guild is a wonderful ministry preparing the church for Sunday and other services. Members of the Altar Guild assist the Priest by preparing the Altar and ensuring all is ready for the services, and caring for the linens and vestments, brass, silver, and candles in readiness.

Acolytes and Torchbearers

Members of any age are invited to assist at the altar, and in processions as torch bearers and acolytes

Sunday School and Christian Education

St Mark's will be offering two new Sunday morning programs for the children of St. Mark's.  One program will encompass age 4 through 2nd grade and the second program is for children grades 3-5.  Each program is essentially a youth-centered worship experience.  The older children will participate in their own self-led worship service.
